A city without advertisements seems unimaginable. Nowadays, urban images are characterised by colourful and bright advertising media; posters, banners, signs, neon signs, company logos and window stickers are everywhere. One advertising message tries to be greater and more colourful than the other.

 

But how would a cityscape appear if it was free of advertisements? What would remain?
